Maylight Health & Wellness provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, depression, stress, burnout, and women’s mental health concerns, including symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause. Care is individualized and considers both mental and physical health when developing treatment recommendations.
-
Getting started is simple. Schedule a complimentary 10-minute telephone consultation to briefly discuss what you’re looking for and determine whether Maylight may be a good fit for your needs. If you decide to move forward, we’ll help you schedule a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and provide instructions for completing your intake forms before your appointment.
-
Maylight takes a thoughtful, whole-person approach to psychiatric care. As a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. May considers the relationship between mental and physical health rather than focusing on symptoms in isolation. Treatment decisions are collaborative, individualized, and designed to help you understand your options and participate actively in your care.
-
For general questions, you may use the secure contact form on our Contact page. Established patients should use the secure patient portal for questions related to their care. Messages are generally reviewed within 1–2 business days. Maylight Health & Wellness does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or call or text 988.

Maylight Health & Wellness currently accepts Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans through Headway. Headway manages insurance eligibility, billing, and patient cost-sharing for covered services. Coverage varies by individual plan, so patients should confirm their benefits before receiving care.
Self-pay options are also available for patients who are not using insurance.
-
Your first appointment is an opportunity to understand what has been affecting you and what you hope will improve. We’ll discuss your current concerns, mental and physical health history, medications, sleep, relationships, stressors, and other factors that may be contributing to how you’re feeling. You’ll have time to ask questions, and we’ll discuss potential diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps together.
The goal is for you to leave the visit feeling heard, informed, and clear about your treatment plan.

Yes. Maylight Health & Wellness provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adults experiencing concerns with attention, focus, organization, impulsivity, and executive functioning.
ADHD symptoms can overlap with anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, trauma, and other conditions, so evaluation includes a careful review of your symptoms, history, and overall mental health. When appropriate, standardized screening tools and additional information may also be used to support diagnostic assessment.
Treatment is individualized and may include behavioral strategies, education, non-stimulant medications, stimulant medications when clinically appropriate, or a combination of approaches.
An ADHD evaluation does not guarantee a diagnosis or prescription for a specific medication.
-
Stimulant medications may be considered when clinically appropriate following a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Medication decisions are individualized and based on diagnosis, medical and psychiatric history, current medications, potential risks and benefits, and applicable prescribing requirements. A specific medication or controlled-substance prescription is not guaranteed.
